City looking for feedback on storm drainage plans

Residents can have a say on storm drainage in the City. An open house will be held on September 11 at Centre 2000, where residents will be able to speak to a project representative, view displays and look at plans.

Residents will also be able to attend two information sessions that will guide them through the Storm Drainage Master Plan and go over some technical information.

The plan looks at the City’s storm drainage network to understand how things like catch basins, pipes and storm ponds work together to move rain and snow melt away from homes and businesses.

When finished, the Master Plan will show areas that perform well, areas that need improvement and areas where new drainage systems should be put in.
