Issues with the Red Willow Bridge rehabilitation project have delayed completion.
Work on the bridge was supposed to be done in late October, but crews have had issues involving installation and fabrication.
Work will now have to be finished early next summer, as some of the specialized work can’t be done in winter conditions.
In the meantime, traffic will be transferred to the new, wider portion of the deck, with a minimum one lane alternating lane serving traffic throughout the winter.
