UPDATE: RCMP says Bonnie Beattie has been found safe.

A Kamloops woman on her way to Tomslake, B.C. has been reported missing. The RCMP says 71-year-old Bonnie Beattie left the morning of August 31st to visit a family member but never made it. It’s unclear where she left from.

The woman used to live in Dawson Creek and had previously been to Tomslake on the 29th. Constable Jaime Ekkel calls the missing person case urgent.

“The Dawson Creek RCMP are concerned about Beattie’s wellbeing as she may have become confused or disoriented during her drive and may be lost in the area.”
