County of Grande Prairie council has approved funding to upgrade a stretch of Township Road 720 from Saskatoon Mountain Road, east 3.2 Kilometers.
The project will be completed in partnership with the Encana Corporation. The total estimated cost of the project will be about $2,000,000 with Encana covering 50 percent of the total cost.
Encana is a North American energy producer that produces natural gas, oil and natural gas liquids.
The road upgrades are scheduled to take place this year.
