UPDATE: Initial reports indicate the driver fled the scene but then stopped nearby and called police to let them know about the collision, which happened around 5:15 p.m. The cyclist was a young male and it’s believed he has non-life threatening injuries. His age has not been released.
A young cyclist had been taken to hospital after a collision with a pickup at 96 St. and 108 Ave.
His condition is unknown but police believe he will be okay.
What happened is still under investigation but the driver of the truck was located a short distance away after they called RCMP.
