Grande Prairie residents hoping to quit smoking can soon take part in a new program starting this September.
The QuitCore program will help people 18 years of age and older quit smoking and remain smoke-free as well as give them the tools they need to deal with the reasons why they smoke. Participants can also access financial supports for nicotine replacement therapy.
The six-week course will be offered from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays starting September 5 at Nordic Court in Grande Prairie.
