Man shot at Evergreen Park campground

Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating a shooting at the campground at Evergreen Park. Police say they were called to a trailer a little before 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, where they found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound.

The 62-year-old was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. RCMP are now investigating the shooting, but say it’s not believed to be a random act and there should be no additional risk to public safety.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the local detachment or Crime Stoppers.
