Gas line hit along 97 Avenue

ATCO Gas and the Grande Prairie Fire Department are currently on the scene of a potential gas leak on 97 Avenue near Centre West Envirowash & Lube. ATCO says construction crews in the area reported hitting a gas line line Thursday morning.

Firefighters have blocked off 97 Avenue west and east of the site, which is near their Westgate Station. People are asked to stay out of the immediate areas to allow emergency crews to work uninterrupted.
