Road work starts in Patterson Place Tuesday. The City of Grande Prairie will be excavating down far enough that it can build a new gravel base and lay asphalt concrete.
The work will be done on the Patterson P-loop of 94 Street, 94A Street, 77 Avenue and 78 Avenue. It will also include the replacement of the concrete curb and sidewalk, minor storm sewer repairs, and landscaping.
Construction is expected to take until mid-September. In the meantime, the speed limit in the area will be 30 kilometres an hour.
