There will be reduced speed limits and lane closures on two streets in the City starting on Friday. Crews will be working on Mission Heights Drive from 76 Avenue to Kateri Drive until mid-September in order to add a new gravel base to the roadway, complete some minor repairs on storm sewers and add new line markings.
At the same time crews will be working on a stretch of 84 Street from 68 Avenue to 100 Avenue for the full month of August to resurface the road and add new pavement markings.
In both locations traffic will be reduced to one lane with a posted speed limit of 30 kilometers. Drivers are being reminded to slow down and use caution while in construction zones.
