RCMP arrest teens for multiple break and enters

Three teens have been arrested in connection with a string of break and enters. Grande Prairie RCMP say they got several calls about people breaking into homes and other mischief on July 19th and 20th, mainly in the Crystal Lake Estates area.

As they investigated, police say they found a stolen vehicle with three people in it. They ran off, but were later found with the help of Police Dog Services. It’s believed all three were involved in the reported crimes.

The three 14-year-old boys from Grande Prairie are all facing charges, including multiple counts each of break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime over and under $5,000. They’re also charged with theft of a motor vehicle, mischief, and failing to comply with conditions.

RCMP say the incidents are still under investigation and more charges could be laid. Police have thanked the public for their help.
