Planned outage for part of Grande Prairie Monday

Part of Grande Prairie will be without power Monday. ATCO Electric has scheduled an outage for the Patterson Place area from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The affected area will be from 68 Avenue to 88 Avenue and 100 Street to Resources Road, but not all customers will be in the dark. Those who will lose power have been notified.

The outage was originally planned for Sunday but was moved due to the hot weather. ATCO says it needs to do necessary system upgrades.
