100th/100th intersection closed Sunday/Monday

A main intersection downtown won’t be accessible to traffic for two days next week. 100 Avenue and 100 Street will be closed Sunday and Monday as part of the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes project.

On both days, traffic won’t be able to get through the intersection north or south. Vehicles heading west in 100 Avenue can detour using 100 Street, and pedestrians could be detoured as well.

The City of Grande Prairie says crews will be installing electrical cables and finishing sanitary work, and thanks drivers for their patience.
