Grande Prairie RCMP had 108th Avenue between 96th Street and 98th Street closed off briefly this morning as they responded to an incident.
Schools in the area were notified after reports of shots fired in the Hillside Area, but it appears there was no risk to public safety.
The road blocks have since been taken down and RCMP says the situation has been resolved.
