Open house set for Northern Lights Industrial ASP

The City of Grande Prairie is looking for public feedback on the Northern Lights Industrial Area Structure Plan. The area is just northeast of Lakeland and Crystal Lake Estates and was previously called the Northeast Industrial Area.

An open house has been scheduled for July 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion in Muskoseepi Park. At the open house, staff will present a draft plan for the future of the area.

The city is considering zoning it for long-term industrial use, as well as for recreation. The open house will give officials a chance to gather feedback from residents before refining the plan and presenting it to city council.

Residents who are unable to attend the meeting can also submit feedback via e-mail at [email protected].
