Members of the Grande Prairie Fire Department will be hosting their annual September 11th memorial Thursday.
Starting at 1:30 p.m., the event will honour all firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
The service will be held at the Pete Eager Fire Station at 8111 Resources Road with refreshments afterwards.
The ceremony is open to the public.
