UPDATE: RCMP say they have one man in custody after an incident on 104 Avenue near 88 Street Wednesday morning. Police and the Grande Prairie Fire Department were responding to a gas leak, and the gas to the home has since been turned off.
Mounties have not said why the man was arrested. An investigation is ongoing.
People are being asked to stay away from the Ivy Lake Estates area due to an unfolding police incident. Grande Prairie RCMP say they are currently on the scene at 104 Avenue, west of Crystal Landing and south of Crystal Heights.
Residents in the area are asked to stay in their homes or stay away from them. They are thanked for their cooperation.
