ALERT Grande Prairie helps Dawson Creek RCMP nab UN gang associate

Members of ALERT Grande Prairie have played a big part in the arrest of an associate of the United Nations gang in Dawson Creek.

Based on info from local officers, Dawson Creek RCMP began investigating a group of drug dealers, mostly made up of Grande Prairie gang members.

They had set up shop on a rural property outside of the B.C. Peace city, with stolen property, drugs, and guns.

Police were able to take the 32 year old suspect into custody on August 30th, after a four hour long chase.

He’s now facing several firearms, drug, and property-related offences, but charges have not yet been laid so his name cannot be released.
