City inspecting storm drains in Crystal Heights, Ivy Lake

The City of Grande Prairie’s storm drain inspections have moved on to Crystal Heights and Ivy Lake. Work started Monday cleaning the storm system between 100 Avenue and 116 Avenue and 88 Street and 92 Street.

Part of the job includes video inspections to figure out the condition of the city’s current infrastructure and prepare for future work needed. While there may be some disruptions to traffic, no road closures are expected.

Work in Crystal Heights and Ivy Lake is expected to continue into August. The city started in Gateway area, which should be done this month.
