Three people have been arrested in connection with a vehicle that crashed into a home on Crystal Lake Drive Saturday night. RCMP say around 10:20 p.m. a pickup truck drove over multiple yards and hit parked vehicles before running into a garage.

Witnesses told police that several people had run away from the truck, but Police Dog Services wasn’t able to find anyone. However, a shotgun was found on the ground near the truck.

Later that night, RCMP heard about a man running near the Cobblestone area that matched the description given by witnesses. He was found and arrested, and another passenger turned himself in shortly after midnight. The alleged driver has also since been arrested.

Police say the crash is still under investigation and charges are pending. Anyone who lives in the area and might have video footage of the sidewalk or road is asked to contact the Grande Prairie detachment.
