Woman shot in “targeted attack”

Beaverlodge RCMP are looking for suspects in a shooting Monday. Officers were called to a home in Valhalla around 12:30 p.m. on July 2nd.

There, they found a woman who had been shot in her leg. She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say their investigation has led them to believe three men approached the home and shots were fired into it. The suspects reportedly fled the scene in two white pickup trucks.

RCMP believe this was a targeted attack. They ask anyone with information that could help in their investigation to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
