Road work begins this week in Brochu Industrial

The city says work will begin in the Brochu Industrial Park as part of the Road Rehabilitation Program. The are runs from 116 street to 124 Street and Highway 43 to about 108 Avenue.

Crews are expected to start on Tuesday and will be in the area until July. Work will be performed at a number of locations including; 101 Avenue, 104 Avenue, 106 Avenue, 121 Street and 123 Street.

The work consists of some repairs to the roadway currently in place. The city says they are also working to ensure the road is able to handle current and future traffic volumes. Some landscaping and concrete installations will also be completed.

There will be some lane closures and speed reductions as crews complete their work. Drivers are told to expect to delay and to obey all posted signage.
