Mother Teresa Catholic School principal announced

The Grande Prairie Catholic School Division is filling critical roles for the coming school year.

Nichole Gerein will take over as Principal at Mother Teresa School. She has been the Assistant Principal there for the past three years.

The kindergarten to grade seven school offers both Montessori and standard programming. There are nearly 750 children registered in the school.

Board Chair Michael Ouellette says a school like that is quite the undertaking.

“In terms of school size, Mother Teresa is a massive school. So the fact she knows what’s happening on a daily basis and manages it effortlessly says a lot about her character.”

GPPSD says Gerein and her family moved to Grande Prairie from Saskatchewan in 2014.

Her new role will officially begin August 1, 2018.
