Some parts of Grande Prairie Regional College are still closed off after a small fire on the main building’s roof Friday evening. The college says access is still limited to some affected areas of the building including the A Wing and the B Wing.
A show scheduled for Saturday night in the Douglas J. Cardinal went ahead as planned, but the rest of the public was asked to avoid the campus as work continues to restore the school to be fully operational. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire has not yet been released.
