One dead, one in hospital following single vehicle crash near Goodfare

One person is dead and another in hospital following a single vehicle accident west of Grande Prairie this morning.

Around 9:15 this morning a vehicle hit a power pole near Goodfare.

The male passenger passed away on scene, while the female driver was taken to hospital in Beaverlodge, no word yet on the severity of her injuries.

Some homes in the area, on Highway 671, between Range Roads 115 and 120 are still without power as a result of the crash.

Currently waiting on further updates from the RCMP.
