All of the roads in the MD of Greenview affected by flooding last month have been reopened. Communication Specialist Bill Duncan says there are only five spots left in need of repairs, including four in the New Fish Creek area and one in Valleyview South.
“Long term repairs for these areas will be scheduled throughout the 2018 construction season.”
People should travel with caution on Range Road 221 and Township Road 724 west of Highway 49 in New Fish Creek, and Township Road 702 east of Range Road 221 in Valleyview South is in need of long-term repairs.
An emergency alert for the municipal district was issued on April 23rd, as warm temperatures quickly melted the snow around the region. Any residents who come across problem areas should contact operations at 780-524-7602.
