Grande Prairie search warrant turns up drugs, guns and cash

The search of a home in Grande Prairie has led to the arrest of two people. The Western Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit teamed up with Grande Prairie ALERT, RCMP, and Police Dog Services to execute a search warrant on May 9th. Inside, they say they found drugs, guns, and cash.

A 41 year old Grande Prairie man has been charged with 18 offences, including possession of meth and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of cocaine, heroin, and magic mushrooms. His other charges are related to firearms.

A 41 year old Grande Prairie woman has also been charged with possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking. Both have been released on bail and are set to appear in court on May 28th.
