Police asking for help in identifying fraud suspect

RCMP are looking for a suspect who cashed multiple fraudulent Canada Revenue Agency cheques in both Grande Prairie and Hythe earlier this year.

The first was cashed at a bank in Grande Prairie on June 25, under false identification in the name of Adam Young.

The second was on June 26 in Hythe.

The same false identification was used to cash the cheque.

Police are asking for help in identifying the suspect from security camera footage.

The man is described as a 6′ tall, young, caucasian with a slender build, wide shoulders and blonde hair.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to get in touch with the local detachment or Crimestoppers.
