Another big name in comedy is on their way to Grande Prairie next month to put on a show.
Retired WWE wrestler Mick Foley is touring Canada and the U.S., as part of his Mick Foley World Tour.
Foley says the show is kind of like an autobiographical journey, which he tries to customize to every community he visits.
“We call it a comedy show because ‘wrestling-centric story-telling show with an emphasis on humor’ doesn’t look very good on a marquee. So even though we call it comedy, it’s really a collection of stories that I’ve worked on spanning my career.”
Foley kicks off the first Canadian leg of the tour in British Columbia next month, and will be putting on his Grande Prairie show September 21 at the Douglas J. Cardinal Theatre.
