The 31 year old was hit 90 kilometres north of Revelstoke around 3 p.m. on April 28th. B.C. Ambulance declared him dead at the scene and his name has not been released.

RCMP are now looking to find two witnessess who may have called a tow truck to the area of the fatal crash. Two men described as fishermen are believed to have stopped in at a village that houses B.C. Hydro workers from the Mica Dam around 11 a.m. to get help calling a tow truck for a stranded driver in a truck and camper pulling a boat and trailer.

A camp employee reportedly gave them the phone numbers for several tow companies in Revelstoke, and left them to call using a public phone in the building. Police believe they may have information that could help in their investigation, and ask them to contact the Revelstoke RCMP detachment.
