Wembley celebrating retirement of Fire Chief Richard Querin

After 20 years with the Wembley Fire Department, Chief Richard Querin has retired.

18 of those were spent as chief of the volunteer fire department, making him the longest standing chief in the department’s history, but he officially hung up his helmet on June 30th.

A celebration will be held this weekend at the fire hall, and residents are welcomed to come out and thank him for his years of service.

A barbecue will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. along with cake.
