RCMP say they responded just after 6 o’clock to a tanker rollover on Highway 672. The tanker was the only vehicle involved in the collision which happened at Range Road 74 near Sexsmith.
The truck was hauling two tankers of diesel fuels which RCMP say are leaking. According to RCMP the driver was not injured in the crash.
Traffic is blocked in both directions and RCMP expect cleanup will take a few hours. The County Fire Department is also at the scene along with Environemental Services and Hazmat crews.
