The pedestrian struck and killed by a semi-truck on Highway 43 this morning has been identified as 65 year old Noreen Perkins of Debolt.
She was hit around 9:30 a.m. near Range Road 10 and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial reports indicated she was trying to cross the highway at the time.
The fatality is still under investigation, but drugs and alcohol are not being considered a factor.
The highway has since reopened.
