Three GP teens named to “North” Senior Bowl All-Star Team

Three Grande Prairie football players are headed to the Senior Bowl next month. The trio of graduating players impressed at the North team selection camp last weekend, and have earned their spot on the roster for the High School Football All-Star Game.

Headed to Edmonton’s Foote Field are receiver Silas Yelenik, offensive lineman Logan Dobko, and linebacker D.J. Desutter. All three play for the St. Joseph’s Celtics.

Also from the Peace country is Rhys Winter of Peace River, who will play on the defensive line. The 29th annual Senior Bowl will take place Monday, May 21st.
