Housing starts in Grande Prairie were down last month when compared to January.
Just six homes – all single family units – were built in the city last month.
That compared to 52 homes in January, with 19 of those being single family homes.
Despite the lower numbers last month, there have been 29 single family homes built so far this year, one more than what had been recorded at this time last year.

The big fall off is in multi-family home builds. There have been none so far this year, compared to 42 last year.
