Multiple vehicle break-ins reported in Cobblestone

Grande Prairie RCMP are warning residents to lock up after a series of vehicle break-ins reported in the Cobblestone area. Police say four vehicles on 93rd Avenue between 89th and 91st Street were broken into around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Several items were reported stolen from them, including wallets, electronic devices and personal documents. An investigation into the thefts is still ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.

Corporal Shawn Graham also encourages people to reduce their chances of being a victim by locking the doors to their vehicles homes and sheds, and not leaving valuables visible. Vehicle keys should also be removed, and any suspicious people should be reported to police.
