Two travellers escape South Bear Creek plane crash unharmed

Two people are unharmed after a small, single engine airplane crashed at the South Bear Creek Ball Diamonds earlier this evening around 7 pm.

The plane was traveling north from the U.S. to Alaska when it started having mechanical issues.

The pilot attempted an emergency landing while flying over the south end of Grande Prairie.

Fortunately both people on board escaped without injury, though the plane was very badly damaged.
