If you are an avid collector of coins and a fan of local art, you will want to add a new $20 face value coin from the Royal Canadian Mint to your collection.
The mint has released the new coin featuring an image of a Whitetail Deer, which was created by local artist Desmond McCaffrey.
McCaffrey says the selection process was lengthy, but he is thrilled to have been chosen.
“They really check you out and make sure that your designs are completely authentic. Authenticity is huge with that. My knowledge of the anatomy of Whitetail Deer really came into play here and I really had a fun working on the coin.”

The coins are now available, you can order one online, or through a local post office.
