JDA Kings knocked out of playoffs

The County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings are out of the playoffs. The Junior A hockey team fell 3-2 in overtime Tuesday to the Fort St. John Huskies, dropping the second round series 4-1.

The JDA Kings went up 1-0 in the second period, but the Huskies tied it up a few minutes later. The same happened in the third, and the teams went to extra time tied 2-2.

The Huskies will play the winner of the series between the Peace River Navigators and the Dawson Creek Canucks in the North West Junior Hockey League final. The Junior Canucks are up 3-2.
