Cab involved in pedestrian hit and run

UPDATE: RCMP have say that while the suspect vehicle was yellow, it’s unknown if it is associated with any company.

Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for a cab after a hit and run involving a pedestrian. A 19 year old man suffered minor injuries after RCMP say he was hit from behind while walking south on 93A Street near 108 Avenue.

It happened some time between 9 and 10 a.m. on February 21st. The vehicle then continued westbound on 108 Avenue without stopping.

Police describe the vehicle as a yellow cab with tinted windows and checkers on the side. RCMP ask anyone with information on the incident to contact them.

This comes less than two weeks after a woman was left in critical condition after being hit by a black truck near the Rose and Crown. RCMP have no updates on her condition.
