Homes in Sexsmith and the eastern part of the County of Grande Prairie will get reinspected starting in March. Assessors will be heading door-to-door to see if any property values may have changed.
“The County assessors re-inspect properties to ensure that assessment records are accurate and up-to-date,” explains Chief Assessor Barry Donovan. “However, not all properties within the County are visited every year because of recent re-inspection or nothing has drastically changed to the properties.”
Along with Sexsmith, properties in ranges two and four will also be visited. Assessors will be wearing photo ID, and will leave a door hangar if residents aren’t home.
