Student charged after bomb threat at school

A 13 year old has been charged after a bomb threat was made towards St. Andrew’s School in High Prairie Monday. Corporal Chris Warren says RCMP investigated and allege it came from a student of the school.

The threat was “deemed not to be credible” but police have not disclosed how it was made. It came in to Holy Family Catholic Regional Division around 1:30 p.m. and the building was declared safe to re-enter just after 4 p.m.

Classes resumed as normal Tuesday morning. The suspect has been charged with uttering threats and has been released from custody on court-imposed conditions.
