Klein-Gebbinck & Popko children

February’s Dirham Homes Community Builder is a group of local children who are already making a difference in their community. 10 year old Kaelyn Klein-Gebbinck, 8 year old Kyler Klein-Gebbinck, 4 year old Kalia Klein-Gebbinck, 3 year old Kashton Klein-Gebbinck, 9 year old Brayden Popko, and 6 year old Leah Popko have spent the past few years raising money through a lemonade stand and selling handmade items.

Instead of pocketing their hard earned cash, they choose to donate it, and in December 2017 were inspired by the 2day FM Cares for Kids Radiothon. They gave to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation, and helped buy a Joey Bed for newborns.

The children say they plan to find more ways to raise money, and challenge others their age to give back as well.
