Alberta health Services is continuing to educate everyone about the dangers of smoking. During national non-smoking week AHS and AlbertaQuits will have information displays set up around the province including at the Public Health Centre here in Grande Prairie. AlbertaQuits services include telephone counselling, free web-based and texting services.
This week marks the 30th annual National Non-Smoking week. It’s goal is to raise awareness about the health risks associated with smoking and also to educate people on the support services available to them.
