Drugs, loaded gun found in Peace River apartment

An investigation into drug trafficking in Peace River has led to charges against two people. Peace Regional RCMP and the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team searched an apartment at 9805 77 Avenue on January 14th.

Inside the apartment, police say they found what’s suspected to be cocaine, meth, heroin and oxycodone, along with a large amount of unknown powders. They also turned up a loaded gun, ammunition, cash, and unspecified evidence of drug trafficking.

“The public’s information is a big part of police investigations like this that make the community safer by taking a firearm off the streets and illicit drugs out of the community,” says Staff Sergeant Brent Meyer.

25 year old Bryce Cole Pyle was arrested while he entered the building, and 25 year old Teagan Campbell was arrested before she could return. They’re both facing several charges related to drugs trafficking and weapons. Campbell has been released on bail, while Pyle remains in custody.
