UPDATE: Alberta 511 reports the road was re-opened to traffic as of 9:00 a.m.
Highway 43 is closed near Beaverlodge due to a crash. Alberta 511 says major delays are expected at the interection with Highway 723 two kilometres south of the town.
Emergency crews are on scene and detours have been set up. We will update when we learn more.
