County crews have started clearing snow from roads in Clairmont north of 108 Avenue. The County says they’re working at full capacity to plow roads around the region, starting with main paved roads as a priority.
Later this week they’ll head to La Glace and Clairmont south of 108 Avenue, which includes Whispering Ridge and Westlake Village. Once done, they’ll move on to the Wedgewood subdivision.
Residents are asked to watch for snow removal crews in their neighboorhood and to make sure not to park on the road. They’re also asked not to pile and snow or ice shovelled from their driveway onto the road.
Once major, arterial and collectors roads have been cleared, crews will tackle driveways for seniors and physically disabled residents who are signed up for the Seniors Snow Plow Program.
