Three local businesses have been named finalists for the 2018 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction. The provincial awards will be handed out in Edmonton on March 2, 2018.
The Grande Prairie International Street Performers Festival Association is up for the Arts & Culture Award of Distinction. The festival is heading into its 18th year next year.
Up for the Eagle Feather Award of Distinction is CIA Solutions, who also took home the award locally in October. The company was founded in 2011 and deals in indoor and outdoor advertising, as well as film production.
Outside of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Awards of Distinction winners, Wave Engineering Consultants are up for two awards: Small Business Award of Distinction and Young Entrepreneur Award of Distinction. The corporation has offices in Grande Prairie and Edmonton and offers electrical, lighting, and controls engineering services to utility, government and private sector clients.
