The unemployment rate in northwestern Alberta has increased.
Last month it moved up to 3.8 per cent, which is a half per cent more than it was at this time last year.
The rate stayed the same province-wide, at 4.5 per cent. Across Canada, the number is more than one and a half times that, at 7 per cent.
