UPDATED: Traffic flowing again after morning crash on Highway 43

UPDATE: RCMP say traffic flow has resumed normally on Highway 43.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a crash Wednesday morning on HWY 43. The collision happened just before 6:30 a.m. at RR 55, right near Richie Brothers.

RCMP say a northbound pickup truck crossed the path of an eastbound semi. Traffic was briefly detoured around the area. RCMP say one lane will remain closed for the next few hours as they investigate.
